The Omron E3T-ST11 2M is an ultra-compact through-beam fiber optic sensor amplifier designed for detection in confined spaces. This sensor amplifier supports through-beam detection mode, where the sensor detects interruption of a light beam between the transmitter and receiver fiber optic cables. The E3T-ST11 features an extremely small housing measuring just 20x8x12mm, one of the smallest fiber optic amplifiers available, making it ideal for installation in tight spaces where standard sensors cannot fit. The 2M suffix indicates a 2-meter pre-wired cable for convenient connection. The sensor operates on 24VDC power supply and features both light-on and dark-on output modes, selectable via a wire. With a response time of 0.5ms, the E3T-ST11 is suitable for high-speed detection applications including small part counting, position sensing, and quality inspection in electronics manufacturing, medical devices, and precision assembly applications.
