What's the maximum load for relay output?
3A at 250VAC resistive load. For higher current loads (heaters, contactors), use relay output to control external contactor or SSR. Never exceed relay rating or contact life will be severely reduced.
How long will the relay output last?
Electrical life: 100,000 operations at rated load, 500,000 at 1A. Mechanical life: 20 million operations. For high-cycle applications (>1 cycle/minute), use SSR output model instead.
Can I use this controller for a simple ON/OFF heater?
Yes, configure for ON/OFF control mode (not PID). Set hysteresis (0.5-5°C) to prevent rapid cycling. Ideal for simple heating applications where precise temperature control isn't critical.
What thermocouple types are supported?
