What's the difference between LY2N and G2R series?
LY2N: traditional ice cube relay, round body, 8-pin tube socket. G2R: modern square design, flat blade terminals. Both are DPDT 5A relays. G2R is newer design with better terminal access.
What socket do I need?
PYF-08-E 8-pin tube socket. Available in panel mount, DIN rail mount, and PCB mount versions. Socket allows easy relay replacement without rewiring.
Can I use AC coil relay with DC supply?
No, AC and DC coils are not interchangeable. AC coil on DC will overheat and fail. DC coil on AC won't operate properly. Always match coil type to supply.
