The Omron CJ1W-ID261 is a 64-point DC24V digital input unit for the CJ-series PLC rack, used with CJ1M, CJ1, and CJ2 CPU units. It carries 64 inputs on a single 31 mm wide slice, drawing about 110 mA at 5 VDC. Wiring lands on a Fujitsu-compatible connector (one connector covers 32 points), so a single 64-pt module replaces two 32-pt blocks. Mounting and wiring notes

The unit snaps onto the DIN rail on the right side of the CPU, next to the power supply and other CJ modules. Each Fujitsu-compatible connector handles 32 inputs, so two connectors are needed for the 64 points. Use the Omron XW2Z connection cable or third-party Fujitsu FCN-360 / FCN-365 compatible plugs with shielded wiring on long cable runs. Allow 4.1 mA per input for power-supply sizing on the field 24 VDC rail.

Before ordering

Confirm the CPU has a free slot on the CJ rack. The CJ1M-CPU12 / CPU13 supports up to 10 modules per rack. Choose a 64-pt module only when field wiring really is 64 points; otherwise a 32-pt ID231 / ID232 is easier to fault-find. Pair the module with the CJ1W-PA202 (AC) or CJ1W-PD025 (DC) supply based on the cabinet supply.

Both are 64-point DC input units on the same Fujitsu connector pattern. The CJ1W-ID261 is the static-input model with 8 ms default response. The CJ1W-ID262 adds dynamic-input capability and a faster response, which is useful on high-speed counting or indexing lines. Pick ID261 for standard machine I/O; pick ID262 when the application needs the dynamic input feature.
Which connector fits the CJ1W-ID261?
The CJ1W-ID261 uses a Fujitsu-compatible 40-pin connector (one per 32 points).
