What is the difference between CP1L-EL20DR-D and CP1L-L20DR-D?
The EL version has a built-in 100 Mbps Ethernet port for HMI, SCADA, and PLC-to-PLC networking — the L version has only a peripheral USB programming port. Use the EL when you want the HMI to talk to the PLC over the LAN; use the L and save the cost when nothing on the machine needs Ethernet.
