The Omron CS1W-CN223 is a 2-metre I/O connecting cable in the CS1W-CN@@3 family, used to link a CS1 CPU rack to a CS1 expansion rack, or to daisy-chain multiple CS1 expansion racks together. manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation stocks this controller in Xiamen and ships within 3-5 business days to most Asian, European, and North American ports.

Both ends use the same high-density connector that mates with the I/O bus connector on the CS1W-BC@@3 expansion backplanes and on the right-hand side of the CPU rack. Maximum total expansion distance with all CS1W-CN@@3 cables summed together is 12 m — for anything longer, you need a CS1W-IC101 I/O Control Unit + CS1W-II101 I/O Interface Units in long-distance expansion mode, which lets you reach 50 m per segment.

Second, do not use a C200H-CN@@1 cable in a CS1 expansion — C200H I/O cables were for the older C200H/C200HS racks and have a different connector pitch.

The CS1W-CN223 is 2 metres long, not 0.3 m. The '3' at the end of the part number denotes the CS1W-CN@@3 cable family (rack-to-rack I/O cable), not the length. The 0.3 m cable in the same family is the CS1W-CN313 — the '3' there indicates 3 decimetres (30 cm). The length code for the CS1W-CN223 is '22' = 2.2 m rounded to 2 m nominal.
What is the difference between CS1W-CN223 and CS1W-CN226?
They are different cable families for different jobs. CS1W-CN223 is an I/O connecting cable — it carries the rack-to-rack I/O bus signal between a CS1 CPU rack and a CS1 expansion rack. CS1W-CN226 (2 m) and CS1W-CN626 (6 m) are peripheral-port cables — they connect a programming console (CX-Programmer on a PC) to the CS1 CPU's peripheral serial port for online programming.
What is the maximum total length of CS1W-CN@@3 cables I can use?
12 metres total, summed across all CS1W-CN@@3 cables in the expansion chain. So you can mix CS1W-CN313 (0.3 m) + CS1W-CN713 (0.7 m) + CS1W-CN223 (2 m) + CS1W-CN523 (5 m) + CS1W-CN223 (2 m) for a total of 12 m between the CPU rack and the farthest expansion rack. Beyond 12 m the I/O bus signal degrades and the CS1 CPU will report an I/O bus error (I/O Verification Error or I/O Bus Error) at startup.
Can I use a CS1W-CN223 cable with a CS1G CPU or only CS1H?
Both — CS1W-CN223 works with CS1G-CPU@@@-EV1 and CS1H-CPU@@@-EV1 CPU units, with all CS1W-BC@@3 expansion backplanes, and with CS1W-BI@@@ long-distance expansion backplanes. It also works with the newer CJ2M-CPU@@@ CPUs in CS/CJ-series expansion interconnection mode, where a CJ2M CPU rack expands into a CS1 expansion rack (used during phased CS1-to-CJ2 migration). The CS1W-CN223 cannot be used with C200H or C200HS legacy racks — those used the C200H-CN@@1 cable family with a different connector pitch.
