No. The 4116 code is in the D4B-N general-purpose subgroup. It does NOT carry the certified direct-opening mechanism required for safety guard-door interlocks. For Cat 1 / PL c and higher safety applications, choose D4B-4111N (resin roller lever) or D4B-4115N (stainless roller lever) — both of which carry the certified DOM.
What is the difference between D4B-4116N and D4B-4117N?
D4B-4116N uses an adjustable roller lever — best for cam and angled approach. D4B-4117N uses an adjustable rod lever — best for linear push applications where you cannot fit a cam profile. The contacts, body, and ratings are otherwise identical.
