What is the difference between D4C-1201 and D4C-1301?

Is the D4C-1201 safety-rated?
No — the D4C is a general-purpose position switch with a single SPDT contact. It does not have force-guided contacts and is not approved for safety functions per ISO 13849-1. For safety-rated position monitoring (guard-door interlock, E-stop position feedback), use the D4N (snap-action with positive opening) or D4B (force-guided with direct opening) safety limit switch instead.
Can the D4C-1201 be used outdoors?
