The G6B-4BND DC24V is a 4-channel terminal relay that packs four independent G6B mini-relays into one DIN-rail-mountable block, with 4PST-NO (4PDT) contacts rated 5 A at 250 VAC or 5 A at 30 VDC per channel. Each channel has its own LED operation indicator, separate input and output screw terminals, and a plug-in G6B relay module that can be replaced in seconds without disturbing the wiring. The block mounts on a standard 35 mm DIN rail or screws to a panel, and the four isolated channels let you switch four independent loads from four independent control signals without cross-talk.

Wiring and replacement

Each channel has separate coil input terminals (A1, A2 for channel 1) and separate contact output terminals (13/14 for channel 1 NO, etc.) on the screw-terminal block. The four channels share no commons — each is fully isolated, which is the main advantage of a 4-channel terminal relay over a single 4PDT relay. The plug-in G6B relay module can be pulled straight out and replaced in under 30 seconds without removing any wiring from the screw terminals. The LED on each channel lights when the coil is energised, giving immediate visual feedback that the control signal has reached the relay.

Common installation

In a PLC panel the G6B-4BND mounts next to the PLC output bank on the same DIN rail, with the four PLC output wires landing on the four coil input terminals and the four load wires on the four contact output terminals. What is the difference between G6B-4BND and G6B-47BND?
Both are 4-channel terminal relays with 4PST-NO contacts at 5 A. The 4BND is the standard 100,000-operation electrical life version; the 47BND is the long-life 200,000-operation version for higher-cycle applications. Can I replace a single failed channel without rewiring the whole block?

Are the four channels isolated from each other?
Yes — each of the four channels has its own coil input and own contact output, with no shared common. The dielectric strength between any two channels is 2,000 VAC for 1 minute.
