The H3YN-2-B DC24 is an 8-pin plug-in timer that gives you four timing modes — ON-delay, interval, flicker-OFF-start, and flicker-ON-start — in one compact package. It runs on 24 VDC and provides two changeover (DPDT) relay contacts rated at 5 A, so you can drive a contactor and an indicator from the same time trigger. Set the range from 0.1 s to 10 min using the four-position DIP switch on the side and the dial on the front. A green power LED and a red output LED show the state at a glance; the timer draws about 1.2 W (50 mA) at 24 VDC.

How do I switch between ON-delay and interval modes?
Use the DIP switch on the side. Switch 1 picks the time cap (1 s / 10 s / 1 min / 10 min). Switches 2 and 3 pick the mode: both off = ON-delay, 2 on = interval, 3 on = flicker-OFF-start, both on = flicker-ON-start. There is no software setting — the physical switch position is the only option.
What socket do I need?
An 8-pin PYF-family socket. PYF08A is the standard round socket with screw terminals. PYF-08-PU-L is the Push-In Plus version with screwless terminals and about 60 % faster wiring. For flush-mounting through a panel cutout, add a Y92F-30 adapter. For multi-timer panels with a uniform grid, PYP-1 or PYP-18 plates hold 1 or 18 sockets respectively.
What is the maximum load the contacts can switch?
5 A resistive at 250 VAC or 30 VDC, and 2 A inductive at 250 VAC. Mechanical life is 10 million operations no-load; electrical life is 100,000 at rated load. For a 24 VDC solenoid load, fit a flyback diode across the coil. For 230 VAC inductive loads, add an RC snubber.
Can I use this on a 230 VAC supply?
Not this SKU. The H3YN-2-B DC24 takes 24 VDC on pins 2 and 7. For 230 VAC control, order the H3YN-2-B AC200-230 (same timing and contact ratings, different coil). Connecting 230 VAC to a DC24 timer will damage the coil.
