The Omron C500-CE404 is a 40-pin soldered right-angle connector kit (housing Fujitsu FCN-361J040-AU + cover FCN-360C040-J2 / OTAX N360C040J2) supplied with the CJ1W-CT021 / C200H-CT021 high-speed counter unit. The C500-CE404 lands the encoder and control wiring on the front face of the counter module -- the 40-pin male header on the CT021 mates to the FCN-365J040-B style socket, and the C500-CE404 carries the wiring from the cabinet to that socket. The right-angle soldered configuration is the standard pick for cabinet builds where the encoder cable enters the control panel from the side.
