Product Overview
The Omron CJ1W-AD04U is a 4-channel analog input unit for CJ-series PLCs. Each channel is set independently to a voltage range (1-5 V, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, or +/-10 V) or to 4-20 mA current, so a single unit can read four different transmitters at once. A/D conversion runs at 1/8000 full-scale resolution with a 250 us per-point conversion rate, or at 1/4000 with a 1 ms rate when the faster scan is not needed. It is the standard pick when a CJ rack needs a few analog inputs from panel-mounted transmitters (pressure, level, flow, temperature) without adding a high-density 8-point or 16-point module.

Wire each channel with shielded twisted pair, grounded at the panel side only, and route at least 100 mm away from power wiring. Set the per-channel range with the DIP switch on the front face before applying any input voltage.
