The Omron CJ1W-TC002 is a 4-loop temperature control unit for the CJ1, CJ2 and NJ-series PLCs It is manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation stocks this controller in Xiamen and ships within 3-5 business days to most Asian, European, and North American ports.

Each loop accepts a type R, S, K, J, T, L or B thermocouple. The unit runs ON/OFF or 2-degree-of-freedom PID with auto-tune, switchable per loop.

FAQ for CJ1W-TC002

Does the CJ1W-TC002 support Pt100 RTD inputs?
No. The TC002 is thermocouple only (R, S, K, J, T, L, B). For Pt100 or JPt100 RTD inputs on the same 4-loop body, use the CJ1W-TC003.
What PLC programs the CJ1W-TC002?
CX-Programmer under the CX-One suite. The unit exchanges 20 words of constant data plus 90 words of regular data with the CPU in the Special I/O area (CIO 2000 to CIO 2959). Set points, RUN / STOP, AT and alarm values are written from the CPU; PV, SP, status and heater current are read back.
How is the CJ1W-TC002 different from a CP1W-TS003?
The CP1W-TS003 is a CP-series temperature sensor unit that only converts temperature to a 16-bit binary value, with no PID loop. The CJ1W-TC002 is a Special I/O unit that runs full PID control and auto-tune, and requires a CJ CPU rack.
Can the CJ1W-TC002 do heat-cool control?
Yes. The unit supports forward (heat) or reverse (cool) operation, set per loop with the DIP switch on the front of the unit. Heat-cool uses two of the PNP outputs per loop.
