Product Overview

The Omron CJ1W-TC102 is a 4-loop temperature control unit for CJ-series PLCs, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation stocks this controller in Xiamen and ships within 3-5 business days to most Asian, European, and North American ports. Each loop takes a Pt100 or JPt100 RTD probe. The unit runs ON/OFF or 2-degree-of-freedom PID with auto-tune. Four PNP voltage-pulse outputs switch up to 100 mA at 24 VDC for solid-state relays or small contactors.

Sampling is 500 ms per loop and RUN / STOP is set from the CPU. Indication accuracy is +/- 0.3% of the reading or +/- 1 degC plus 1 digit. The 31 x 90 x 89 mm body clips onto a CJ1 or CJ2 rack and pulls 250 mA from the 5 V bus. For a thermocouple version, pick the CJ1W-TC002. For a 2-loop RTD unit, pick the CJ1W-TC001 instead.

FAQ for CJ1W-TC102

Does the CJ1W-TC102 take thermocouple inputs?
No. The TC102 is Pt100 / JPt100 RTD only. For thermocouple inputs on the same 4-loop body, use the CJ1W-TC002.
What PLC programs the CJ1W-TC102?
CX-Programmer under the CX-One suite. Set points, RUN / STOP, AT and alarm values are written from the CPU; PV, SP and status come back in the Special I/O area (CIO 2000 to CIO 2959).
How is the CJ1W-TC102 different from a CP1W-TS003?
The CP1W-TS003 is a CP-series temperature sensor unit that converts temperature to a 16-bit value with no PID. The CJ1W-TC102 runs full PID control and auto-tune, and needs a CJ CPU rack.
