The Omron E2B-M12KS02-WP-C1 2M is an M12 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2B family, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this sensor from our Xiamen warehouse with a 30-day DOA return window and a datasheet PDF included in the box.
The sensor detects ferrous metal at 2 mm with a flush mount. The nickel-plated brass body is 47 mm long with a 30 mm thread, and the 2 m PVC prewired cable exits the back. Output is NPN normally open, 3-wire, 10 to 30 VDC supply at 200 mA max load. Response frequency is 1,500 Hz.

What metal can the E2B-M12KS02-WP-C1 2M detect?
Ferrous metal at the full 2 mm rated distance. The sensing distance drops on non-ferrous metals (stainless steel, aluminium, brass) and on thinner targets. Use a 12 x 12 x 1 mm mild-steel target for the published 2 mm spec.
Can this sensor mount in a steel bracket?
Yes. The shielded body lets it sit flush against ferrous metal without reducing the sensing range. For non-shielded bodies, the surrounding metal must stay at least one body diameter away from the sensing face.
Is the cable oil-resistant?
Standard PVC cable. For cutting-fluid or oil-rich environments, order the E2B-M12KS02-WP-C1 5M with the oil-resistant PUR cable option or switch to the E2EQ series.
What does the C1 in the SKU mean?
