Product Overview
The Omron E3FA-DP21 is a 100 mm diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor in the E3FA M18 cylindrical line, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this sensor from our Xiamen warehouse with a 30-day DOA return window and a datasheet PDF included in the box.
The E3FA-DP21 detects light back-scattered from the target itself, so no reflector is needed on the opposite side — useful in tight installs. A 624 nm red LED gives a visible 40 × 45 mm spot at 100 mm. The M18 ABS plastic body has a 22 mm mounting thread, IP67 / IP69K rating at the sensor face, and an M12 4-pin connector. Output is PNP open-collector with Dark-ON / Light-ON selectable via the white L-select wire.
The 100 mm nominal range is measured against 300 × 300 mm white paper; glossy, dark, or small targets reduce range. For 300 mm in the same housing, use the E3FA-DP12; for retro-reflective detection with a reflector, use the E3FA-RP21. The M12 cable XS2F-D421 series is sold separately.
