Product Overview
The Omron E3T-ST11 2M is an ultra-thin side-view through-beam photoelectric sensor with a 1 m sensing range, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this sensor from our Xiamen warehouse with a 30-day DOA return window and a datasheet PDF included in the box.
The set is an emitter and a receiver in 18.5 x 7 x 9.5 mm side-view heads with M2 mounting holes, each on a 2 m pre-wired cable. The visible red 650 nm LED makes alignment a one-person job -- you can see the spot on the far side. Power is 12 to 24 VDC; output is NPN open-collector, Light-ON, 50 mA, with a 1 ms response that suits high-speed parts counting. The PBT housing is IP67, fine for washdown.
It detects anything opaque down to 2 mm across at 1 m. For the Dark-ON output of the same sensor use the E3T-ST12 2M, and for an infrared source pick the E3T-ST13. Mounting brackets E39-L117 and E39-L118 are sold separately.

E3T-ST11 2M vs E3T-ST12 2M -- what is the difference?
Output logic. Both are 1 m side-view through-beam, NPN, red LED, 12-24 VDC on 2 m cables. The ST11 turns the output ON when light is received (Light-ON); the ST12 turns it ON when the beam is broken (Dark-ON). Pick by what your PLC input expects.
Does the E3T-ST11 2M need a separate amplifier?
No. The amplifier is built into the receiver head, so the two 2 m cables wire directly to a 12-24 VDC supply and a DC input. There is no fibre-optic head or remote amplifier.
