The Omron EE-SX674 is a T-shaped close-mounting slot photomicrosensor with a 5 mm slot width and 9 mm slot depth, from Omron's EE-SX47 / SX67 family of amplified through-beam sensors with built-in connector. manufactured by Omron Corporation. The "T-shape, slot center 10 mm" profile (Omron calls this "close-mounting" because the slot is set back from the front face for close-coupling to a moving target) gives the SX674 a slightly deeper sensing throat than the SX672 (slot center 7 mm) — making the SX674 the right pick when the target arm or flag is 10 mm or wider, while the SX672 is better for narrower 7 mm arms. The EE-SX47 / SX67 family splits along three axes: profile (standard / L-shaped / T-shaped 7 mm / T-shaped 10 mm / F-shaped / R-shaped), output (NPN or PNP), and connection (connector model or pre-wired -WR).
