Both are 5 mm slot, NPN, 1 m pre-wired sensors. The EE-SX672-WR is the standard T-style body; the EE-SX676-WR is the close-mount body, which fits where the bracket is tight against the actuator. Pick the 72 for typical mounting, pick the 76 for shallow brackets.
Can the EE-SX676-WR drive a 24 V PLC input directly?
Yes, if the PLC expects a sinking (NPN) input. The sensor's open-collector transistor switches the input to 0 V; the PLC's input circuit must be between +24 V and the sensor output. For a sourcing PLC, choose the EE-SX676P-WR (PNP).
