What is the difference between G3PE-515B and G3PE-515BL?
Both are 15 A three-phase SSRs with the same load rating. The BL variant adds a status indicator that shows when the SSR is ON. Pick BL when you want a visual indicator at the cabinet for quick fault diagnosis; pick plain B for lower cost.
What control voltage does the G3PE-515B need?
DC12-24V on the input terminals (operating range DC9.6-30V). It takes a PLC sourcing output or a temperature-controller SSR drive signal directly. For 5 V logic control, pick a G3PE variant with a 5 V input instead.
Can I use the G3PE-515B on a single-phase load?
No. The G3PE-515B is wired with three AC output terminals, one for each phase. On a single-phase load, two of the three outputs would float and the load would not switch correctly. Use a single-phase SSR (G3PE-215B or G3PE-225B) for 1-phase loads.
Does the G3PE-515B need a separate heat sink?
No — the heat sink is built into the unit. The 15 A per phase rating already accounts for normal DIN-rail mounting with adequate cabinet ventilation. In a sealed cabinet above 40 °C, derate the load current or step up to the 25 A G3PE-525B for additional thermal headroom.
