What cable links the G7TC-ID16 to a PLC?
An XW2Z-R cable with a Fujitsu/Otax or MIL connector on the PLC side and a matching connector on the G7TC side. Standard lengths run from 0.5 m to 5 m; longer cables are available on request.
Can the relays be replaced individually?
Yes. Each of the 16 relays is a G7T-1122S SPST-NO relay that pulls straight out of the P7TF-IS16 socket. Swap a failed relay without unwiring the field terminal.
What is the maximum cable length to the field device?
Up to 50 m to the I/O device when using a 2 mm squared CVV cable. To the controller the cable should not exceed 5 m, which is the longest standard XW2Z-R length.
What replaces a failed G7TC-ID16 on the same wiring?
A second G7TC-ID16 with the same coil voltage clips straight onto the DIN rail and uses the same XW2Z-R cable. No rewiring of the SYSMAC side is needed if the cable and node address are unchanged.
