What is the difference between the SS-5GL13 and the SS-01GL13?
The SS-5GL13 is the standard 5 A at 125 VAC version with rivet contacts. The SS-01GL13 is the microvoltage 0.1 A version with bifurcated crossbar contacts. Both share the same simulated roller lever and body.
Can the SS-5GL13 be used in safety interlocks?
Not on its own. The SS-5GL13 does not have the direct-opening mechanism required by EN ISO 13849-1 for safety interlocks. For a safety-rated limit switch with positive opening, use the D4N or D4B series instead.
