Does the CJ1M-CPU21 have DeviceNet?
No. The CJ1M-CPU21 face plate has the peripheral port and one RS-232C port. DeviceNet is on the CJ1M-CPU21-ETN variant; the plain CPU21 has no built-in field bus.
What connector does the built-in I/O use?
A MIL 40-pin connector on the bottom of the unit. The connector is not included; Omron sells a range of MIL-to-terminal-block cables and connector-terminal conversion units separately.
Is the CJ1M-CPU21 still in production?
No. The CJ1M-CPU2x line was discontinued in March 2021 and is now sold as a spare. For a current-production equivalent with EtherNet/IP, use the CJ2M-CPU31.
