Product Overview

The Omron CJ2M-CPU13 is a CJ2M-series PLC CPU, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation stocks this controller in Xiamen and ships within 3-5 business days to most Asian, European, and North American ports.

The CPU runs a 20K-step program and 64K words of data memory (32K words DM plus 32K words EM in one bank). LD instruction execution is 0.04 microseconds. Built-in ports are USB 2.0 for programming and an RS-232C serial port. The CPU does not have an EtherNet/IP port -- for Ethernet on a CJ2M use the CJ2M-CPU3x or CJ2M-CPU1x with the CJ1W-ETN21 module.

Up to 40 I/O units across 3 expansion racks give 2,560 local I/O points. Battery backup uses the CJ1W-BAT01. The pulse I/O add-on module is the CJ2M-MD211, and the three expansion racks link via the CJ1W-IC101 plus CJ1W-II101 cable chain to a CJ1W backplane. Programming runs in CX-Programmer on the CX-One suite on a Windows laptop over the front USB port.

Does the CJ2M-CPU13 have EtherNet/IP?
No. The CJ2M-CPU1x line only has USB and RS-232C on the body. Add EtherNet/IP through the CJ1W-ETN21 module on the CPU rack, or switch to a CJ2M-CPU3x for built-in Ethernet.
How much program memory does the CJ2M-CPU13 have?
20K steps of program and 64K words of data (32K words DM plus 32K words EM in one bank). For 30K steps pick the CJ2M-CPU14, for 60K steps pick the CJ2M-CPU15.
