No - the S-type is RS-232C and RS-485 only with no Ethernet port on the CPU. For built-in Ethernet, choose the CP2E-N60DR-A or the smaller CP2E-N40DR-A and CP2E-N30DR-A. The N-type adds a 100 Mbps Ethernet port for SCADA, NB HMI over Ethernet, and Modbus-TCP polling on the same CPU.
How many expansion units can the CP2E-S60DR-A take?
