Product Overview
The Omron E3FB-DP23 2M is an M18 diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor with built-in amplifier, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this sensor from our Xiamen warehouse with a 30-day DOA return window and a datasheet PDF included in the box.
The sensor detects objects up to 1 m on a 200 x 200 mm white paper target. Light source is a red LED at 624 nm. Output is PNP open-collector, Light-ON or Dark-ON selectable on the rear switch. Response time is 0.5 ms and the unit runs on 10 to 30 VDC at 25 mA max.
The M18 nickel-plated brass body is 48 mm long. The 2 m pigtail ends in a 4-pin M12 connector for fast swap. Protection is IP67 and IP69K, so the sensor handles washdown. The -DP suffix is PNP / 4-wire; the -DN suffix is NPN / 4-wire. For retro-reflective on the same M18 body, use the E3FB-RP21. For a lower-cost M18 diffuse with a prewired cable, use the E3FA-DP12.

IP69K means the sensor survives high-pressure, high-temperature water-jet cleaning at 80 to 100 bar and 80 degC. The E3FB-DP23 2M is rated for daily washdown in food, beverage and pharmaceutical lines where a standard IP67 sensor would eventually leak.
Can the E3FB-DP23 2M detect clear PET bottles?
Diffuse reflective sensors can struggle with fully transparent targets. For clear-bottle detection, use a retro-reflective sensor with MSR polarising filter such as the E3ZM-B66 or the E3FB-RP21 with an E39-R1S reflector.
