Product Overview

The Omron NS5-SQ10-V2 is a 5.7-inch programmable terminal from the NS-series HMI family, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the CX-Designer project file on a USB drive included.

The display is a 5.7-inch STN colour LCD at QVGA 320 x 240, 256 colours, with a matrix resistive touch panel rated for 1,000,000 touch operations. Screen data memory is 60 MB. Backlight is a user-replaceable LED with 75,000 hours minimum service life and automatic error detection. Power supply is 24 VDC, 15 W max.

Two RS-232C ports (D-sub 9-pin) handle PLC-to-HMI communication; there is no built-in Ethernet on this model. A USB 1.1 slave port (Type-B) and a CompactFlash slot handle project transfer and data logging. Front panel is IP65 / NEMA 4 / UL Type 4 rated. The NS5-SQ10-V2 is discontinued; for an Ethernet-equipped modern replacement, pick the NS5-TQ10-V2. Programming is in CX-Designer, part of CX-One.
