The Omron NS5-TQ10-V2 is a 5.7-inch colour TFT programmable terminal from the NS5-V2 family, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the Sysmac Studio or NB-Designer project file on a USB drive included.
The QVGA 320 x 240 screen shows 256 colours (32,768 on BMP / JPG bitmaps). The high-luminance TFT has an LED backlight rated 75,000 hours. Touch is a resistive matrix panel. Project memory is 60 MB and a CompactFlash slot holds recipes and project backups.
The unit runs on 24 VDC 20.4 to 27.6 V at 15 W. Two RS-232C ports (Port A and Port B) and a USB 1.1 slave port handle communication. Front face is IP65. Programming runs in CX-Designer under the CX-One suite. The 195 x 142 x 54 mm body weighs about 1 kg. For a 5.7-inch STN colour version with Ethernet, pick the NS5-TQ11-V2. For an STN colour 5.7-inch panel on the same V2 family, use the NS5-SQ10B-V2.

What software programs the NS5-TQ10-V2?
CX-Designer under the CX-One suite. The project supports Smart Active Parts for direct tag binding to Omron CP, CJ and CS-series PLCs over Host Link (RS-232C) or NT Link (1:1 / 1:N).
Does the NS5-TQ10-V2 have Ethernet?
No. The -10 model has no Ethernet port. For an NS5-V2 with Ethernet (EtherNet/IP or FINS), use the NS5-TQ11-V2.
Can I replace an NS5-TQ10-V1 with the -V2 model?
Yes. The -V2 is a drop-in replacement for the -V1 on the same 195 x 142 mm cutout. CX-Designer projects convert in one step. The new -V2 has a longer-life LED backlight.
Is the NS5-TQ10-V2 still in production?
Discontinued for new builds in 2020. Stock is limited at Omron and at distributors. For new designs, use the NB5Q or NB7W HMI family.
