The Omron NS5-SQ10B-V2 is a 5.7-inch NS-series programmable terminal, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the Sysmac Studio or NB-Designer project file on a USB drive included.

The panel has a 5.7-inch TFT colour LCD at 320 x 240 QVGA. Display colours are 256 on screen with up to 32,768 for BMP and JPG image data. Internal memory is 60 MB flash. Built-in ports are two RS-232C serial channels plus a USB slave for project transfer. A CompactFlash slot handles recipe and data logging. Supply is 24 VDC and the front face is IP65. Power draw is up to 15 W.

Does the NS5-SQ10B-V2 have Ethernet?
No. The Q in the NS-series model code means no Ethernet. For the same panel with Ethernet, pick the NS5-SQ10B-ECV2, which uses the E prefix.
Can the NS5-SQ10B-V2 connect to a CJ or NJ PLC?
Yes. Both serial ports support host Link and NT Link. Use port A for the PLC and port B for a barcode reader or second controller. CX-Designer defines the host PLC address under PT settings.
Is the V2 a drop-in for the original NS5?
Yes for mounting. The V2 fits the same panel cutout and mounting holes as the non-V2 NS5. Projects built for the older screen transfer through CX-Designer, though they may need to be re-saved as V2 projects before downloading.
