Product Overview

The Omron NS5-SQ11B is a 5.7-inch STN colour touch screen HMI from the NS5-V2 family, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the Sysmac Studio or NB-Designer project file on a USB drive included.

The QVGA 320 x 240 STN colour screen shows 256 colours (32,768 on BMP / JPG bitmaps). The resistive matrix touch panel takes 1 million operations. Project memory is 60 MB and a CompactFlash slot holds recipes and project backups.

Communication is 2 x RS-232C serial ports, one Ethernet 10 / 100 Base-T port and a USB 1.1 slave port for project upload / download. Supply is 24 VDC 20.4 to 27.6 V at 15 W. Front face is IP65. The case is black (B suffix). 195 x 142 x 54 mm, about 1 kg. Programming runs in CX-Designer under CX-One. For a TFT colour version on the same V2 body, pick the NS5-TQ11-V2. For a modern replacement on a new build, use the NB5Q-TW01B-V1.

Yes. The 11 suffix marks the Ethernet version on the NS5-V2 family. The 10 suffix (NS5-SQ10B-V2) is serial-only.
Is the NS5-SQ11B still in production?
