Product Overview

The Omron NS5-TQ00-V2 is a 5.7-inch programmable terminal from the NS-series HMI family, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the CX-Designer project file on a USB drive included.

The display is a 5.7-inch TFT color LCD at QVGA 320 x 240, showing 32 768 colors with an analog resistive matrix touch panel rated for 1,000,000 operations over a 20 x 16 touch matrix. Screen data memory is 20 MB. The LED backlight has automatic error detection.

Two RS-232C ports (D-sub 9-pin) connect to Omron CP1, CJ, CS, and NJ PLCs; there is no built-in Ethernet on this model. A USB 1.1 slave port (Type-B) handles project upload. The front face is IP65 / NEMA 4 rated. The NS5 series is discontinued; the NA5-7W001S-V1 is the modern Sysmac Studio replacement. For Ethernet, the NS5-TQ10-V2 sibling adds the port. Programming is in CX-Designer.
