What's the difference between NS10-TV00B-V2 and NS10-TV01B-V2?
The only functional difference is the Ethernet port. NS10-TV00B-V2 (this SKU) has no built-in Ethernet — it has two serial ports (RS-232C × 1, RS-232C/RS-422/RS-485 × 1) plus USB host/slave. NS10-TV01B-V2 has the same serial ports and USB but adds a 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet port for FINS communications, Tag data link routing with NJ/NX controllers, and remote HMI access via CX-Designer over LAN. If your PLC talks to the HMI over Host Link serial only, the TV00 is the cost-optimised pick.
Is the NS10-TV00B-V2 still in production?
No — Omron discontinued the entire NS-series V2 lineup in April 2022. New units are no longer manufactured. NS10-TV00B-V2 units are still available from distributors' secondary channel stock and remain fully supported for CX-Designer programming, repairs, and spare-part replacement until the channel stock is exhausted. For new designs, the recommended replacement is the NA5-9W001B-V1 (9-inch) or NA5-12W101B-V1 (12.1-inch) Sysmac-family panel, or the NB10W-TW01B if you want a 10.1-inch NB-series panel that is still actively produced.
What software do I use to program the NS10-TV00B-V2?
CX-Designer, which is part of Omron's CX-One automation suite (CX-One v4.0 or later). CX-Designer is the screen-design tool — you build pages with buttons, lamps, numeric entry, trend displays, and graphs, and you bind each element to a bit or word address in the host PLC. You can install CX-One alongside Sysmac Studio on the same PC, but only CX-One is needed for NS-series HMI work.

Yes — the NS10-TV00B-V2 supports Host Link (SYSMAC WAY) and NT Link serial protocols for communication with CJ-series, CP-series, CS-series, and NJ-series PLCs. For a CJ2M-CPU33, use the CJ2M's serial port (RS-232C on the option-board slot) or add a CJ1W-SCU21-V1 / CJ1W-SCU31-V1 serial communication unit to get an RS-232C or RS-422/485 port. Connect the CJ2M serial port to the NS10's port A or port B with a straight-through RS-232C cable (or cross-over depending on the protocol mode).
