Product Overview

The Omron NS8-TV00-V2 is an 8.1-inch programmable terminal from the NS-series HMI family, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the CX-Designer project file on a USB drive included.

The display is an 8.1-inch TFT color LCD at VGA 640 x 480, showing 256 colors on screen and 32 768 colors for BMP / JPG image objects. The matrix resistive touch panel is rated for 1,000,000 touch operations over a 20 x 16 matrix. Screen data memory is 60 MB. The LED backlight has automatic error detection.

Two RS-232C ports (D-sub 9-pin) connect to Omron CP1, CJ, CS, and NJ PLCs; there is no built-in Ethernet on this model. A USB 1.1 slave port (Type-B) handles project upload. The front face is IP65 / NEMA 4 rated for use on the cabinet door. The NS8-TV00-V2 is discontinued by Omron; the NA5-9W001S-V1 is the modern Sysmac Studio replacement. For Ethernet, the NS8-TV01-V2 sibling adds the port. Programming is in CX-Designer.
