Product Overview

The Omron NX-ILM400 is an NX-series IO-Link master unit with four ports, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation stocks this controller option board in Xiamen and ships within 3-5 business days to most Asian, European, and North American ports.

Each of the four ports runs IO-Link v1.1 at COM1 (4.8 kbps), COM2 (38.4 kbps) or COM3 (230.4 kbps). The unit also reads PNP digital inputs and drives PNP digital outputs in SIO mode. Maximum cable run is 20 m per port. Wiring lands on a 16-terminal push-in (screwless clamping) block that releases with a flat-blade screwdriver.

What does the Omron NX-ILM400 do?
It adds four IO-Link v1.1 ports to an NX-series control rack. Each port can run an IO-Link sensor or actuator at COM1, COM2 or COM3, or fall back to a standard PNP digital input or output when the device is not IO-Link.
Which NX coupler does the NX-ILM400 work with?
It drops onto either an NX-ECC201 EtherCAT coupler or an NX-EIC202 EtherNet/IP coupler. It also works with the NX-ECC202 and NX-ECC203 variants. The coupler choice is set by the host controller, not the I/O unit.
How is the NX-ILM400 configured?
