The S8VS-12024 is the basic 120 W member of the Omron S8VS family of DIN-rail-mounted switch-mode power supplies. It accepts a wide-range 100 to 240 VAC input (allowable 85 to 264 VAC, or 80 to 370 VDC) and delivers a regulated 24 VDC output at 5 A continuous (120 W). Typical efficiency is 84 % at 100 VAC input and 87 % at 200 VAC input — high enough that the supply can deliver full 120 W continuously without active cooling, mounted on standard DIN rail in a 0 to +60 °C ambient with normal cabinet ventilation.
