The Omron NS5-SQ11-V2 is a 5.7-inch STN color QVGA programmable terminal from the NS-series V2 platform with built-in Ethernet, manufactured by Omron Corporation. Hengyixin Automation ships this HMI panel from Xiamen with the Sysmac Studio or NB-Designer project file on a USB drive included. The display is a 320 x 240 pixel STN color LCD with 256 displayable colors (32,768 for stored bitmaps). The resistive matrix touch panel reads CX-Designer screens on 60 MB of project memory. The RJ-45 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port connects directly to a CP1L-EM, CP1E with CP1W-CIF41, CJ2, or NJ-series PLC over FINS/TCP or FINS/UDP.
Two D-sub 9-pin serial ports handle Host Link or NT Link on Serial A and a barcode reader on Serial B. A USB Type-B slave port loads CX-Designer projects. Power is 24 VDC; the front face is IP65 / UL Type 4. The unit is discontinued; the modern Sysmac Studio replacement is the NA5-9W001B-V1 on the same 184 x 131 mm panel cutout. The NS5-SQ10-V2 sibling has no network port.
